SLEEPING
Bedroom One

This bedroom has a Victorian feel to it, with antique furniture and paintings of Lyme by local artists. Fabulous views of sea and sky without even having to get out of bed. All bedrooms have their own bathroom and w.c.
Bedroom Two

With its seafaring theme, this bedroom (with two single beds) has two additional and separate “study” areas; the views from the desk, however, challenge the most determined worker.
Bedroom Three

Up the stairs and under the eaves, this bedroom has a secluded feel. It has a surprisingly spacious ensuite bathroom The views from the smaller upper windows show Lyme Bay from a different perspective. The comfortable beds (Vispring mattress) can be arranged either as twins or as a king-size double.
RELAXING
Living Room
Whilst there is comfortable seating for six in the living room, guests usually cannot resist the extra bow window seats for amazing views- sunsets, storms, sea rescues and seagulls. This room has a period feel with antique furniture and a cosy stove.

We spend hours lounging outside the cottage with the occasional glass of chilled white wine: either watch the world go by from beside the porch or, alternatively retreat to the privacy of the secluded gazebo in the small patio set in the rock at first floor level.
EATING
Eating

Enthusiastic cooks will share our enjoyment of the well equipped kitchen. Many a special seafood dinner has been prepared here, courtesy of the local fishmonger.
There is plenty of scope for chef’s night off, too, whether it's local fish and chips or Dorset pasties from the local delis. One thing is certain: meals with family and friends taste much better for the fabulous views from the dining area of Madeira cottage.
