Welcome to Madeira Cottage, a beachfront holiday retreat on Lyme Regis' Marine Parade, which has been our family “home from home” for many years. Accommodating up to 6 guests, the pink thatched cottage, which has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, is available for self-catering holiday rental.

 

The house is attractively and comfortably furnished with a mix pieces made by local craftsmen and antiques. The modern kitchen has been recently refitted and does not detract from the original charm of this 19th Century cottage. The bedrooms each have excellent beds and their own private bathroom/ensuite featuring. Newly installed heating, broadband internet and other modern features all contribute to a high level of homely comfort.

You will find Madeira Cottage occupying  pride of place on the beachfront just beyond the high tide wall, only two minutes walk from the main thoroughfare of Broad Street. In the other direction, a gentle stroll along the front brings you to "The Cobb" harbour with its collection of pubs, ice cream stalls, fresh fish shop and other seaside traders.
